About

… the site:
  • Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict
  • Valid CSS
  • Powered by WordPress
  • Makes use of PNG transparencies on the page background image and the search button, which won’t display so pretty in IE6. Boo. But will look pretty in browsers that support PNG transparencies. Yay!
  • Uses no tables for site layout and there aren’t any hidden spacer.gif’s lurking about. Current method works pretty well in IE6 (the lowest of my testing base).
  • Will begin to use more and more advanced CSS techniques that may will not work in IE6. For example, child and attribute selectors.
  • From time to time, I may insert videos in my blog. Using the default code given by YouTube and Google Video will cause the XHTML validation to break (due to the embed tag being used).
  • Zuru Zuru is a Japanese onomatopoeia to convey the sound of feet dragging on tatami mats, or just dragging in general, which can symbolize indecisiveness. This symbolism kind of matches how I’ve been going through life.
