What’s Next?
Last night’s season finale of Heroes finally ends the terror of Sylar. Or does it?
(Spoiler Alert)
I never saw them zip up Sylar’s body. The trail of blood where he was leads to a manhole that was slightly open. So I don’t know what to think.
“You saved the cheerleader so we could save the world.” Of all the last lines that he could have said, none of them were “I wish I could have spent more time with you Claire,” or something to let us know if Nathan ever really cared much for his “daughter”. At least he showed Peter how much he cared for him. Part of me hopes that both brothers survived.
While it was a good ending, it wasn’t as powerful as it could have been. It felt lacking. Maybe more fighting with Sylar. Maybe a more emotional goodbye. I don’t know. I just hope Heroes doesn’t lose steam and suck like Lost ended up doing.
